Manga's most famous detective will try out time travel in a new manga series aimed at teaching readers young and old alike about history. The series is planned to run for 12 volumes with three being published at a time starting on November 29. Follow-up volumes are scheduled for December, February, and March.

In the story, Conan Edogawa and the "Boys Detective" Club find devices that allow them to communicate with "time drifters," girls and boys who have been transported into various eras in the past. There is a way Conan can get them back to the future, but it will require collections 12 "Toki no Ishi." His quest takes him from the Jōmon period (14,000–300 BCE) to the Showa period (1926–1989) and meet important historical figures like Queen Himiko and Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
